How to Calculate Subject Eligibility for Grade Up-gradation
Step 1: Calculate overall marks, overall grades, formative assessment total (FA1 + FA2 + FA3 + FA4), summative assessment total
(SA1 + SA2) of all main subjects only (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies).
Step 2: Remove the subjects from the list with A1 or E2 overall grade (these grades are not eligible for upgradation).
Step 3: Sort the subjects in ascending order of the grades.
Step 4: If grades for any two or more subjects are same, order them by overall marks in descending order.
Step 5: If oveall marks for any two or more subjects are same, order them by decending order of summative(SA1 + SA2) total.
Step 6: If summative total is same, order the subjects in decending order of Formative total (FA1 + FA2 + FA3 + FA4)
Step 7: Now the top most subjects are eligible for grade up-gradation.
